Liverpool’s defender Mamadou Sakho is likely to leave the English Premier League champion Liverpool as he hasn’t been active this season.
The French star defender was banished from the team’s senior team by Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp. Mamadou Sakho has been out of the senior team for a long time as a result of both injury and suspension.
His inactivity seems not to have an end and it is likely that the football star would be looking forward to joining another team. Liverpool is ready to release the defender to any football club willing to pay £20 million.
Mamadou Sakho is one of Liverpool’s exceptional defenders and he is characterized as an intelligent and powerful defender who is also good at attacking.
Mamadou Sakho moved from Paris St Germain in a £15 million deal in September 2013 and has performed excellently for the Liverpool.
His performance in previous seasons has attracted lots of clubs that are interested in signing him. They include two Liverpool league rivals Southampton and Swansea City.
Mamadou Sakho started his football career in his home country by playing for Paris Saint-Germain. He started playing for Paris Saint-Germain in 1996 and hasn’t played for another team except Liverpool.
He played for Paris Saint-Germain in his youth career between 1996 and 2007 before starting his football senior career.
In 2007, Mamadou Sakho joined the senior team of the France football champion Paris Saint-Germain and played there between 2002 and 2013.
In 2013, Liverpool developed interest in him and brought him over to Anfield. Mamadou Sakho has not only played exceptionally for Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool, he has been fantastic for his home country France.
He played for France Under-16 team between 2005 and 2006. He also played for France Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 squad. The energetic defender has also played for his country’s senior team.
