Liverpool is keen on signing Leverkusen midfielder

Liverpool football club of England have been keeping a close watch on Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Julian Brandt. The English Premier League champions have been scouting the 20-year old German midfielder and are interested in signing him.

Julian Brandt joined his present team, Bayer Leverkusen in 2013 in a deal from Wolfsburg.

He is on a five years contract that is expected to end by 2019.  Since his arrival at Bayer Leverkesen the star midfielder has displayed excellent performance and this season he has put on a more spectacular performance.

Liverpool football club is aware of the fact that there are also some other big football teams interested in signing the German midfielder.

The German champions Bayern Munich has also showed interest in the young star since 2013 when they tried to sign him. Julian Brandt however turned down the German champion back then and has said he can still repeat the same thing.

While he remains an important player to his club, Liverpool football club is getting ready to offer a £20 million deal this coming summer for the German star player.

Julian Brandt started his career back in SC Borgfeld where he played for about nine years between 2001 and 2009.

In 2009 the German winger left SC Borgfeld for Oberneuland football club where he played for three years before leaving in 2011.

Julian Brandt moved to Wolfsburg after playing for Oberneuland football club and played for about three years before he was signed by Bayer Leverkesen.

Bayer Leverkusen signed Julian Brandt from Wolfsburg football club back in 2013 and was given the jersey number 19.

The fast-developing midfielder has been able to drive the ball into the goal post three times in their last ten matches.

He was one of the goal scorers in their UEFA Champions League game against Monaco where his team won three goals to nil.

Julian Brandt also scored in their home game against though Bundesliga rival RB Leipzig and was declared the man of the match even though Bayer Leverkesen lost the game.
