Inter Milan Close To Signing Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea Target

Serie A side Inter Milan is closing in on AS Roma star Kosta Manolas, and both clubs are close to reaching a deal for the in-form on-demand player.

If the deal materializes, it means that a number of clubs from the English Premier League, French Ligu 1 and German Bundesliga will miss out on the defender.

The 25-year-old Greece International is a player in high demand since the opening of the January transfer window after he established himself as one of the finest defenders in Europe.

A number of top European sides have been reported to show interest in the signature of the AS Roma man, creating a fierce competition over his signature.

Premier league sides Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are among the top European clubs linked with interests to sign the player, and are keen on recruiting him.

All three English Premiership clubs are expected to strengthen their their defense line this month, and it is believed that the players’ physical and composed style of play is a perfect fit for the rigors of the English Premier League.

Also linked with a move for the player includes : German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, Serie A champions Juventus and French Ligue 1 champions Paris St-Germain. All clubs are also reportedly plotting to table a transfer bid.

The central defender joined AS Roma for £12m in 2014 from Greek side Olympiakos, and has since featured in over 100 matches for the Italian club.

Kosta Manolas has a contract with the Serie A side that is valid until June 2019, while he is in high demand, it is unsure if his club would sell. He is valued around £32 million.

It is unclear whether the player will favor a move to Inter Milan over other interested clubs.

The player has so far featured in 22 games for club and country this season.
