French Player Set To Become Co-Top Earner At United

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho is looking forward to securing the services of French man Antoine Griezmann in January. This measure is taken to strengthen the team and make it a more formidable team to play against.

Athletico Madrid’s French International Antoine Griezmann has been assured the same big contract as compatriot Paul Pogba if he switches to Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

Representatives from the Old Trafford’s side were in discussion with Griezmann ’s representatives on personal terms during talks this week.

Manchester United is willing to offer Griezmann a whopping   £220,000 per week deal, same figure his compatriot Paul Pogba earns at United. This amount is independent of bonuses.

What this means is that Griezmanna and Pogba will both be co-top earners at Manchester United as Jose Mourinho seeks to strengthen the team and make the team capable of competing even in European Competitions.

It was revealed in December that Manchester United had identified the French International forward Griezmann as a top priority and the club has employed the services of a top agent to carry out negotiations.

Although Manchester United is yet to agree a transfer fee for the Frenchman with his club, who is asking that United pay £86million to unlock the clause in his contract. Jose Mourinho’s side is very confident of sealing an agreement with Atletico Madrid — and the English club is willing to go the extra mile for the French man.

United is willing to offer Griezmann a similar contract to the one handed over to French International Paul Pogba, who enjoys a mouth-watering deal with United. Pogba enjoys a 4 years contract with an option of signing for an extra year.

The French man will in addition to the benefits he gets from sponsorship contract receive a £5 million tax free as loyalty bonus if he should play for Manchester United for five years.
