Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has set his eyes on Antoine Griezmann and Marco Reus if Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil do not sign contract agreement extension with the club.
Arsenal who lost to Manchester City last Sunday is currently undergoing some shaking. Arsenal players decided to cancel their annual Christmas party.
The players decided not to party because of the speculations that two of their key players may soon be leaving the club.
Star players Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have been in the news over the past weeks as negotiations over their new contracts have stalled.
Both players want their contracts improved if they are to stay on at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger wants his star players to agree to a new deal as soon as possible, so he is not looking to bring in any player in the January transfer window.
While talks remain on-going between Arsenal and the players, there’s little to say about the future of both players at the moment though Sanchez and the Chilean admits that life in London is stressful sometimes but full of pleasant memories.
“I like to go to London to eat something or have a drink with my friends. However, I am a very home-loving person, and I spend a lot of time at home,” he told Arsenal Magazine.
“I do explore the city if I have the time for it, but normally I would rather stay relaxed at home. London can be a stressful place because it’s crowded and it’s a big city.”
Despite the facts that Wenger has not shown any desire to enter into the transfer market, there is plenty of news linking different players with the side.
If Arsenal and Arsene Wenger does not succeed in convincing Sanchez and Ozil to sign new deals, Wenger will be looking towards Antoine Griezmann and Marco Reus as suitable replacements.
