Man City FC To Dare Arsenal With £25 Bid

Premier League title hopefuls Manchester City is preparing a surprise transfer move for Arsenal’s fast attacker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Arsene Wenger managed took a significant risk when he placed an enormous £15-million bid during the summer in 2011 to secure the services of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from fellow Premier League side Southampton.

While the player has taken considerable time to grow into the Arsenal team, he finally appears to be in very good form for the club.

The Ox, as fondly called by the Gunners fans, has been in good form for the North London side so far since the start of the season, ha has scored six goals as well as contributing six assists in all his 22 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Over the time, he has been able to showcase himself as a player to be desired and has transformed himself into a key player in Arsenal.

Despite all his incredible form for Arsenal, there are reports that Oxlade-Chamberlain could likely leave Arsenal at the end of the current campaign as the North London side are yet to begin talks of a contract renewal for the English international attacker, whose existing deal comes to an end in 2018.

The Gunners are expected to find a solution to the player’s contractual situation after they finalize with their two influential superstars Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil that has been a cause for concern for Arsene Wenger recently.

More reports also suggest that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City is planning a move for the 23 -year-old player and Arsenal may be tempted to let go of Chamberlain if the price is right and the right conditions are met.

Manchester City is optimistic of luring the player by expressing a need for his services and are prepared to spend a whopping £25 million to acquire the services of the young man next season.
