Spurs sends Swansea to the bottom of the table

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Swansea City in an impressive style as both Christian Eriksen and Kane scored a brace. Spurs in their last match against Swansea won five goals to nothing and got away with a full three points.

The home team at White Hart Lane took the lead just 39 minutes into the game which was the only goal in the first half. Very early in the second half, Spurs gave Swansea a heavy blow when they added the second goal.

Just four minutes after the first goal that crushed the Jacks, Harry Kane added yet another goal, the third goal of the match.

Spurs were not, however, satisfied with the havoc wrecked on the Jacks, so they added two more impressive goals. The defeat means Swansea moves even deeper into the relegation zone, straight to the bottom of the table.

Spurs put on an impressive performance for most of the game, as midfielder Dele Alli featured in their match after a four months injury. The 20-year old midfielder provided crucial assist that led to the first goal.

Although Spurs got knocked out of the Champions League on Wednesday, they performed impressively in this game.

Harry Kane brought the game to live when he scored the first goal from the penalty spot. Just as the second half began, Heung-Min Son stuck hard at Swansea when he scored the second goal of the match.

After 24minutes into the second half, Eriksen had a chance to score a goal and which he converted. In the 70th minute, another goal was recorded for Tottenham as Christian Eriksen scored yet another spectacular goal. The goal scoring didn’t end until the 90th minute when Eriksen put another goal past the goalkeeper, to make it five goals against Swansea.

The remarkable and impressive form the Spurs displayed was really something as they send Swansea straight to the bottom of the table.
