Real Madrid finishes El Classico in style

Real Madrid ended the El Clasico in a fascinating way increasing the points between them and Barcelona as they remain on top of the La Liga table.

Barcelona started this game strongly leading by a goal from Luiz Suarez and maintained the lead for over 30 minutes before Madrid secured a late goal in the final minute of the game.

Barcelona scored just eight minutes into the second half with the goal from Luis Suarez. Although it seemed like Barcelona were going to win the game, it wasn’t so as a brilliant effort from Sergio Ramos helped Real Madrid to end the game with a respectable margin.

Luis Enrique’s men failed to secure the one goal advantage when they had the opportunity to score more goals in the match.

Real Madrid made efforts in this game, but the match was stretched till the 90th minute before they ended the game in impressive fashion.

Thunder of chants filled the stadium where Madrid supports were as they enjoyed the moment with overwhelming excitement.

It may sound right to say Zinedine Zidane’s side did not really miss the impact of Gareth Bale, but in reality, he was missed. In the absence of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo took the front in their 4-4-2 formation.

Just as expected the ex-Manchester United striker made several attempts to score a goal, but all attempts yielded no result.

Andre Gomes did not perform exceptionally in the game as he was outclassed by Luca Modric and Franciso Isco pass. The 23-year old midfielder moved from Valencia to F C Barcelona on a £25.5 million deal the last summer.

It remains unknown why Luis Enrique chooses to let Andre Gomes play a full match even when Andres Iniesta is back from injury, it’s too late to ponder about Iniesta’s notable absence, one time was sure, the El Clasico was a spectacular event as usual.
