Tottenham must win to keep Champions League hopes alive

Tottenham‘s chances of making it to the last-16 of the Champions League remains a possibility; this is because they still have Monaco to face on Tuesday evening. Back in September, the clash between the two teams ended in a 2-1 victory against Tottenham.

Tonight both sides meet again; Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have to win to remain in the tournament. Much is expected from Pochettino’s men tonight as Harry Kane who registered two late goals in the game against West Ham over the weekend will be very active. To secure a win in Monaco tonight, Pochettino will have to use a very dynamic formation.

If Spurs loses tonight in France, there is a tendency that their chances in Europe’s premier competition will be thwarted. But if they win, their Champions League hopes will remain very much alive. Spurs fans would be able to breathe a sigh of relief should they win.

Spurs key man Harry Kane is back and registering goals for the team. Being a game-changing centre-forward for Spurs, his return to form has called for a celebration and much delight to both fans and teammates.

In Spurs’ last five matches, the 23-year-old has netted five solid goals for the team ahead of their trip to the Stade Louis II. Back in September, it was a struggle for Kane, as he made every effort to levy himself when Tottenham last clashed with Monaco. He looks intent on registering more goals for his side as they meet Monaco tonight.
